I've completed some research on the website http://playspent.org/html/ as I learned so many American's struggles with life meaning finances, bills, college or even kids. As i learn that i struggle myself with finances, people can fall into sadness, depression and even lead to more expenses. I would articulate this into my classroom by telling students for starters this is a somewhat interaction with life, I would let the students know that life can or cannot be this way but do not be scared as they answer the questions. I would tell the students that as a student I didn't get much life guidance or life skills as I grew up. I would tell the students that these few skills will guide them to be better in life as they finish school to be a better person in society. Before I have the students start, i would send a permission slip to the parents and explain I why I am having a small week course to get the students to tackle on more life situations to help improve their critical thinking and to just give the students a glimpse into life and lastly to give the students life skills. I would hope all the students would sign up to complete the challenge but if the students parents say no, i would have a completely different activity for the students that would fall into the lesson plan and just explain the two different activities and let the student work on the assignment and type a short 1 page paper on the Spent assignment and the alternative assignment just to see how the students interact and dive deeper into their minds and make the students think outside the box from a usual assignment they would typically have.
